Is there a greater ending than the first movement of Tchaikovsky's
Pathetique Symphony? The subtlety, the beauty absolute.... I admit that
I have a weakness for brass. Cite some Bach endings that compare.

There are so many movements in all classical music that I am literally
left breathless from emotion and humbled by the sheer beauty of the
composer's composition. Here are a few of my favorites:

"Sanctus" from Bach's "B Minor Mass"
"Passion Chorale" from Bach's "St. Mathew Passion"
" Let the righteous be glad" and "For who is God but the Lord" from
Handel's glorious Chandos Anthem Number 10
The last movement of Sans Sans "Concerto for Organ and Piano"
The second movement of Beethoven's "Emperor Concerto"
The first movement of Rachmaninov's "Piano Concerto Number One"

Enjoy

I apologize Jackson for not answering your question and confining my
reply specifically to Bach endings but hopefully you found it
informative. Richard
