Hello Fello Bacheratti,

Can anyone tell me if the Cell Suites (BMV 1007, etc.) were originally
written for Cello? Did the cello even exist during Bach's time?

Thanks!

John

My favorite movement from this set is the Prelude to #5. It is
brillant. I was wondering which one the rest of you guys like the
most.
