Can anyone please recommend a good set of the complete Bach cantatas,
and also where to order from also.(I live in the U.S.). A quick web
search has turned up no such set on Arkiv, and only one such set on
Amazon, by a Dutch group I've never heard of: Pieter Jan Leusink,
Holland Boys Choir, Netherlands Bach Collegium; and there are no
listening samples. Has anyone heard this organization? Are they good?
Any other possibilities? I do not want to collect them piecemeal if I
can avoid it ...Thanks.

I have gotten the Leusink set. I find it fine so far, quite stirring
and very sensitive in turn. I am no scholar or expert, just a devoted
Bach listener with 50 years of on-and-off experience. I have not yet
heard anything here that does not move me, including old favorites as
well as a number of works I've not heard before. As an example among
my old favorites, the two very beautiful arias of BWV 82 are performed
here as well as in any versions I've heard.

I looked on Amazon, and got it from one of their associated sellers.
Here is the link:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/offer-listing/B0009YI46Y/ref=dp_pb_a//104-5889916-0581520?condition=all

The seller I purchased it from, Russian-DVD.com, must be sold out, he
is no longer listed. His feedback rating was 98%. The two sellers
listed now have lower feedback ratings, as you will see.
